Say hello to dictatorship

The MAGA Supreme Court has just ripped up the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. The President now has almost complete immunity.

The recent court ruling has no basis in the Constitution. In fact, the Constitutional guidelines for impeaching the President state bribery as a reason to remove a President. But the MAGA court ruling makes bribery legal. That is a 100% contradiction. The courts delay tactics and unsupported rulings are evidence that this court is completely loyal to the former President.

Our Declaration of Independence rails against such bias and this was one of the reasons that we had a Revolutionary War to separate us from the British dictator.

For decades, the Justice Department has operated independently from the President. But now the President may become the director of the department. With newly acquired complete immunity, the President may pursue actions against his personal or political enemies without following traditional limitations and guidelines. If voters elect the former President, he will, without cause, use his personal MAGA justice department to indict Democratic leaders or anyone that has not pledged loyalty to MAGA.

Liberty and justice for all may become ancient history.

Instead of working toward the aspirational goal of three equal branches of government, this ruling is a major shift of power to the Executive Branch.

The July 1 decision may be the worst in American history. It is worse than Dred Scott. It is worse the Plessy v Ferguson. It is worse than Citizens United. This decision has legalized bribery and may have legalized an attempted insurrection aimed at overthrowing our government.

This MAGA Supreme Court decision could lead to the destruction of our 237-year-old representative democracy.
